Wrote this newsletter after a walk and cup of coffee.
Not sure which of the two I like more.

Struggling to be consistent? (Try this)
A few weeks ago, I woke up at 5:00am on a Monday morning.
Sat on my couch. Read my Bible. Planned the day.
By 5:30am I felt like a total champ.
I planned to start my workout at 5:45a.
5:45a came. Still on the couch.
5:47a came. Still on the couch.
5:55a came. Still on the couch.
6:01a came. Still on the couch.
6:05a came. Still on the couch.
6:06a came… and I FINALLY stood up and made my way towards my home gym.
It took me 21 minutes to fight through my excuses and take the first step.
But that second step was easier.
Even easier was the third.
And by the 10th step, I wish I had just taken the first one sooner.
Takeaway?
Focus your efforts on taking the first step.
Trying to exercise? Stand up from the couch.
Trying to walk more? Take the first step towards the door.
Trying to eat healthy? Open your food log app after you eat.
Trying to go to bed earlier? Walk towards your room to brush your teeth.
Every step after the first becomes easier.
You are one step away from consistency.
🔎 Finds
This 88 year-old man ate 25 eggs/day.
For 15 years!
He had normal cholesterol levels.
One anecdote doesn’t establish universal principles.
But this might help you relax if you enjoy eating eggs every day.
This list looks incredible.
Especially #15. Apple cider braised brisket?!
Sometimes I get bored of bodyweight movements.
Until I see videos like this.
It reminds me that there are endless variations (some of which are cool).
Those “typewriters” are crazy!
