The soreness myth
Busy parents: you don’t need to be sore every day to lose weight.
A good workout = sore afterwards is a gym-bro myth.
Normal soreness:
First 1-2 weeks of exercise
First time increasing weight for a movement
A new movement you haven’t done before
Abnormal soreness:
Every day after exercise
Every week when exercising
Every year when you exercise
Instead, try this 10-minute workout block that helps you show up each day.
10-minute workout block:
Set a timer for 1 minute
Do 8-10 reps of a movement (push-ups, squats, swings)
Stop when you’re done
Rest for the remainder of the minute
Repeat 10x
This is the main workout block. Add 2-3 movements afterwards.
This 10-minute block won’t burn fat by itself.
But it makes consistency easier.
Consistency + the right food plan = fat loss.
I’ve had clients drop 10-30+ pounds and 2-4x their max using this method without daily soreness.

Creatine adds energy, helps recovery, and can reduce muscle tightness.
As a supplement, it’s an optimizer.
If you’re already exercising, walking, stretching, and getting rest, consider adding it.

If you’re already cutting sugar/refined carbs, and eating meats, veggies, and fruits, you might not need it.
Magnesium is a mineral that regulates calcium levels, blood sugar, helps produce protein, and 300+ other things for your body.
If you’re already eating veggies, legumes, and whole grains, you might not need it.
