15-min AM routine that ended energy crashes

My energy nosedived at 10am, 1p and 3p.

Every day. For years.

5 months ago I got sick of it, did some research, and was able to fix it in 15 minutes every morning.

Here’s what is working for me:

  • 8oz of water after waking up

  • 2 scrambled eggs + 2 spoonfuls of cottage cheese

  • 8oz coffee + milk after water & food

10a, 1p, & 3p energy crashes?

They’ve been gone for 5 months.

Drinking coffee before breakfast can impair the body's ability to control insulin.

  • The body doesn't process sugars as easily

  • When you eat, energy spikes unnaturally

  • Then CRASHES later

So when I started the day with no food at all, and added coffee…

  • Blood sugar and energy becomes more volatile

  • Mood, focus, and anxiety becomes more volatile

This is what was happening to me.

Every day. Predictably at 10a, 1p, and 3p.

Hope this serves you.

ps. any protein/fat combo can work for breakfast.

I’ve just hopped on team cottage cheese’s bandwagon this year.

Kettlebell windmills are an excellent mobility movement.

Your spine, hips, shoulders, and hamstrings will love you for it.

But if you do them incorrectly, they feel awkward and can backfire into injury.

Here’s my 80 second explanation on how to do kettlebell windmills.

Strengthen that spine.

Crumbl cookies released a dirty soda called “Crazy Cousins”.

A whopping 186g of sugar in a cup (i.e. 19 Krispy Kreme donuts).

I’m not even sure what to say about this.

Maybe have some watermelon this summer instead?

Start with a kettlebell & lose 20+ lbs.
